I exist!

Yeah, I'm not dead quite yet (though that'll probably be within a couple years, knowing me). I've just been really busy with AN EXCITING ROUND OF...finals, and it seems as though I'm either I'm studying, playing something, too tired to crank out something decent, or busy heading to class in -500 degree Kelvin weather.

This time, I will let you guys post questions you may have for me in the comments, and I will add them to this submission with my answer. I doubt I will get many responses, but you never know...

Sarcasm and a dirty sense of humor, huh? Where the hell did you get it?

Hell if I know. It just comes naturally for me.

So uh, why do you only write about sad stuff on your blog?

First, here's my blog.     tb98nj.wordpress.com     Uhm, good question. I've always been a morbid person so at the very beginning it was out of curiosity, but I eventually realized that I was doing the job no one else was taking. These are people whose lives were full of ups and downs before they were all cut short, yet due to the tragic happenstance no one's telling their story. Basically, NO ONE ELSE WILL DO IT SO I WILL...at least that's how it was for awhile. I've since realized that focusing on sadness is simply unnecessary.

    What's with the false promises?

Sorry bout those. I always think I have more energy and time to spare than I really do. Bad habit of mine.

Do you mind asking about how the request is going?

I actually would like if you guys refrain from asking that, but as long as you only ask every now and again, it's fine. I'd say...if you could, only ask once a week or so, though I'd appreciate less frequently than that.

    Do you ever cancel requests?

If you, as a requester, are extremely (I tolerate a lot) unpleasant and annoying, I will cancel your request, possibly without alerting you first. I may also have to drop one if it's not going anywhere, but I will tell you and accept a new one in return. So, if I haven't told you that I've dropped the request, and you have not been a complete tool, I'm still planning on completing it. I won't cancel commissions for the same reason unless you willfully attack me repeatedly, and I know none of you guys would ever do that.

Are your eyes really a weird mix of blue and green?

Yeah. It's kind of a grayish-hazel with a bit of blue. Officially, of course, it's blue.

Why do your stories focus so much on story?

Not sure, though I think their realism has something to do with my journalistic background. Remember, and I know I say this a ton...by trade, I am a journalist, not a creative writer (I will not deny my skill at creative writing, but my background does not lie in it).

So when WILL your next story be done?

Once I stop playing Rune Factory 4.

How good of a student are you?

Low 80s in Journalism, high 70s in math courses, mid 70s in everything else.

    Do you have a girl?

Yes. She's a cute one, and I love her so much. Yes, she actually exists.

Speaking of, did you ever find a new waifu?

Ever since I had to...uhm, ditch Pyrrha, no...though Clorica's getting to that point. I don't consider Fiora my waifu, but she is my favorite female main character in a video game (RWBY doesn't have a video game...excluding Grimm Eclipse, which, last I checked, is a standard run-of-the-mill beat 'em up with not much in terms of appeal...though they may have improved it since then).

What's your favorite story that you've done in terms of plot? How about in terms of the TF? How about both?

If It's For You for the first, Lacrimosa's Call for the second and third.

Are you gonna show what you look like?

Do you want me to? Let me know...or don't, it's fine either way.

When is your birthday?

January 23rd. Are you going to get me a present?

How old are you?

I'll say I was born between 1996 and 1998.

What are some of your 'weirder' likes?...As in, what you could never mention to someone for fear of-

I get your drift. Honestly, I'd say this whole site. I'd be a little bit of a laughingstock to my fellow student journalists and their monkeys if my DeviantArt was found. But, eh, I don't really care. I like it here.

As for things just about everybody (even you nice people) would find weird, well, the music from Ar Tonelico...actually, video game music as a whole is something I kinda enjoy, but I'm not a big music lover in general. This makes it mighty hard to explain what my favorite genre is...so I usually just say orchestral, throw out Two Steps From Hell as an example, say that I often sing if there's lyrics, and this can be distracting (half true, I do sing if I know the lyrics, but can work just fine), and be done with it. I guess it's weird to meet someone who enjoys race cars (to be exact, I mostly enjoy sports cars and touring cars). Cars going in circles like in NASCAR is usually not entertaining, but every now and then an oval race will be fun to watch.

I also like collecting bottle caps...not actual, interesting bottle caps that people collect like the caps to a Snapple, I mean like water bottles and Gatorades. The boring shit. I remember one day in high school some underclassmen were gathering bottle caps for...something (never found out what), so I threw eleven hundred in a garbage bag and lugged it on in. I would have taken a picture of their faces if I had a cell phone, but alas it was early in tenth grade, and I only got a cell phone in the middle of the school year. Yep. Middle of tenth grade, I got my first phone. I also used to like kigurumi cosplay a lot, but eventually I mostly forgot about it when more important things came up.

Where'd you get some of the piece titles?

Huh boy. Mostly from video game music titles for some bizarre reason. Let's go through a couple, I guess.

Grand Festival Of Release: In Ar Tonelico 2, there exists a rather creepy song called 'ee wassa sos yehar', which translates to Grand Festival of Release. The song is about massacring humanity, so...yeah, it worked, I guess.

Upon the Sound: This one has nothing to do with VGM. 'Sound' refers to a body of water, but has a few definitions. Here in the States, a sound is like a bay, except larger (not as large as a gulf). To be a sound, it has to be deep water. A sound with shallow water is called a bight...who came up with this stuff?

Answers: ...Answers by Susan Calloway is a sad song, all right?

All right, if you have any questions for me, they will go here. Otherwise...I'll see you later.
Yup. Another monologue.

I haven't seen too many other people interested in TFs, video game music, and racing! No bottle caps for me, though...
